Colorado CHP/CCW Class - ($225 per person)
Colorado CHP Concealed Handgun Permit & Firearms Training Class
This four part course is scheduled once per month, usually on the second Saturday of the month. If you have a group of 10 or more people, contact me and we can schedule a class for that.
The online section can be completed at your convenience.
Reserve your seat with a $50 deposit; you will receive documents to review prior to class, and we will need a copy of your drivers license for your certificate to your local Sheriffs Department.

Basic Firearms Safety Class

This is a firearms safety class taught by a retired Police Officer and certified NRA & Law Enforcement Instructor. This class reviews gun safety for children and new users to firearms. How to buy, store, handle & safely use firearms for sporting, hunting, competition, and home/self-defense. Is concealed carry right for you? Learn about types of firearms, safety mechanisms, accessories, different types of ammunition, etc. Teach kids what to do when finding a gun, seeing a gun, and if other kids show them a gun!
Learn how to speak intelligently and with knowledge about firearms and firearms issues.
No charge for child 16 and under with paying adult.

Basic Pistol Class - ($75 per person)
Great Class for New and Seasoned Shooters!
Learn types of pistols, semi-auto, revolver, striker-fired, various safeties operation and use. Types of ammo, standard, +P, +P+, magnums, FMJ, JHP, when to use each type and more! How to handle misfires and squib loads. Marksmanship fundamentals, stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, loading, unloading, magazine exchanges, tactical & emergency reloads, malfunction and qualification drills!

The range fee is $15.00, payable separately from the class on the day of class.
Advanced Pistol Class (Simulator)

Prerequisite: Colorado CHP Concealed Handgun Permit Class or Basic Pistol Class
The advanced pistol class covers advanced shooting skills such as: drawing from a holster; advanced shooting on the move while taking cover; multiple target engagement; shooting moving targets; strong hand and weak hand shooting; reloading from the belt and many other advanced techniques to protect yourself.
You will engage in re-enactment “shoot/don’t shoot” scenarios on a life size screen utilizing a Glock pistol outfitted with a laser. The pistol recoils and slide operates as a real pistol. (This is similar to training provided to Law Enforcement.)

Prerequisite: Colorado CHP Concealed Handgun Permit Class or Basic Pistol Class
So you’ve taken your CHP class, met the state minimums for training, and have obtained your carry permit. While that is a great first step, shooting well is a perishable skill and your training should never conclude. Most concealed carry courses are forced to settle for only a limited amount of live fire drills due to constraints on time and student skill level. We’ve received requests from multiple customers for a course with less classroom and MORE SHOOTING!
We’ve crafted a course that is a natural progression from our concealed carry course, with a focus on drills that enhance skills needed in real-life self defense scenarios. Our course is conducted at our private, outdoor range where we can engage in drills that simply can’t be duplicated by our competitors at indoor lane shooting ranges.
